Helpful Hints for Moving Day:

• All lawn mowers, grills, and machinery must be drained of oil and gasoline. Gas grills and propane tanks must be emptied and certified before being loaded onto the van. These items by law are not allowed to be shipped:
  • gas
  • oil
  • cleansers
  • bleach
  • flammables
  • combustibles
  • aerosol cans
  • matches
  • ammunitions
  • corrosives
• Refrigerators and freezers must be defrosted before shipping. This should be done 24 hours in advance of load date. Hint: wipe inside clean with vinegar
• Please disconnect all electronic equipment and appliances at least one hour prior to packing.
• Items in crawl spaces or attics without fixed stairways should be brought into an open area.
• Personal Computers: please check your owners manual prior to packing.
• Please leave your telephone connected until the day after loading.
